Overview

Where It Goes is a searchable map of where everything belongs at a property. You photograph a wall or area, drop a pin on each drawer and cabinet, and add a reference photo of how each spot should look. At turnover, a cleaner can search any item — for example "garlic press" — and jump straight to the spot it belongs in, with the reference photo. No more guessing, and no more messaging you mid-clean.

Find it on a property under Operations → Where It Goes.

How it works

Zones and locations. A zone is a wall or area (for example "Cooktop wall" or "Pantry"). Each zone holds locations — the individual drawers, cabinets, and shelves. Every location can have a short code (like K3-D1), a description, a note of what belongs there, and a reset photo of its contents.

Set it up. Tap Manage, add a zone, and upload a photo of that wall. Add a location for each drawer or cabinet, tap Pin, then tap the photo to place it. Use Photo to add a reset photo of the spot's contents. Everything saves automatically as you edit — tap Done when you're finished. If you don't have a single wall photo, the zone still works as a searchable grid of location photos.

Cleaners use it two ways. They can search an item to jump to its spot, or browse a zone and tap a pin to see what goes there. It also appears inside the cleaner turnover link, so an external cleaner can use it without an account.

Connect your inventory. In Manage mode, the Items not yet placed card lets you assign any counted inventory item to a location. Once placed, the item shows on that spot with its quantity and a low-stock indicator.

Guests and the AI concierge. Most placement detail is back-of-house, so guests can't see it by default. Turn on the Guest toggle for a specific location and the AI concierge can tell a guest where to find that item — using your real reference, never a guess.

Limits & requirements

  • Available on plans that include inventory. Editing requires property edit access; cleaners with view access can use the map.
  • Photos are private to your account. The cleaner turnover link is token-based and read-only — it can never edit your map.
  • Guest visibility is off by default per location and only affects the AI concierge when your plan includes it.

FAQ

Do I need a photo of every wall? No. A zone works as a searchable grid of location photos even without a wall shot — the wall photo just adds the tap-to-find pins.

Can each cleaner see this without a login? Yes. The map appears inside the cleaner turnover link you already share, with no account required.

Will guests see where everything is? Only the specific locations you switch on with the Guest toggle. Everything else stays private to you and your cleaners.

How do I tie this to what I'm tracking in inventory? In Manage mode, use the Items not yet placed card to assign a counted item to a location. Its quantity and low-stock status then show right where the item lives.

What happens if I move things around? Edit a location's code, description, or contents inline, drag or re-drop its pin, or replace its reset photo. Changes save automatically.
