Overview

Each property in Valzotra has a public website that guests can visit for property details, check-in instructions, and house rules. You can preview this website from within the Valzotra dashboard using the built-in inline browser. In the current version, the property website is read-only — it pulls content from your property details and published AI guide.

How it works

  1. Open the property from the sidebar or properties list.
  2. Click the Property Website tab to open the inline browser preview.
  3. The preview shows the property website exactly as guests see it.

The property website displays:

  • Property name and cover photo — From your property details.
  • Address — So guests can find the rental.
  • Description — The short summary from your property settings.
  • Property guide — The full AI-generated guide (check-in instructions, house rules, Wi-Fi, parking, local tips) if you have published one.

Guests access this website through a link included in their guest portal. They do not need a Valzotra account to view it.

What you cannot change on the website directly

In the current version, the property website is read-only. There is no drag-and-drop editor or theme customization. The website is assembled automatically from your property details and published guide. To change what appears on the website, edit your property details or update the guide.

Limits & requirements

  • The property website is available on all plans.
  • The website is only accessible when the property is active. Archived properties have their websites taken offline.
  • Guests access the website through a unique link. The link is not indexed by search engines.
  • You cannot add custom HTML, CSS, or JavaScript to the property website.

FAQ

Can I customize the look of the property website? Not in the current version. The website uses a standard layout that pulls from your property details and guide. Design customization is planned for a future release.

Is the property website public on the internet? The website is accessible via a unique link, but it is not indexed by search engines. Only people with the link can view it.

What if I have not published a guide? The website still shows your property name, address, description, and cover photo. The guide section is simply omitted until you publish one.

Does the website update when I change property details? Yes. Changes to your property name, address, description, photo, and published guide appear on the website immediately after you save.
