Overview

After you create a property, Valzotra walks you through a short onboarding wizard. You answer a few questions about your rental — check-in instructions, house rules, Wi-Fi details, parking, and local recommendations. Valzotra's AI uses your answers to generate a complete property guide that guests can access during their stay.

How it works

  1. The onboarding wizard opens automatically after you create a new property.
  2. Fill in each section: check-in/check-out instructions, house rules, Wi-Fi and access codes, parking, local tips, and any other details you want guests to know.
  3. Click Generate Guide. The AI reads your inputs and produces a structured, plain-language guide.
  4. Review the generated guide. You can edit any section directly — add details, remove content, or rewrite anything the AI got wrong.
  5. When you are satisfied, click Publish. The guide becomes visible to guests through their guest portal.

You can return to the guide editor at any time from the property's settings to make updates. Changes take effect immediately after you save.

Limits & requirements

  • The AI guide is available on all plans (Comply, Host, and Portfolio).
  • You must provide at least the check-in instructions for the AI to generate a guide.
  • The generated guide is a starting point. You are responsible for reviewing it and making sure the information is accurate before publishing.
  • Guide content is visible to any guest who has an active access link to your property.

FAQ

Can I skip the onboarding wizard? Yes. You can close the wizard and come back to it later from the property's settings page. Your property is still usable without a published guide.

What if the AI-generated guide has mistakes? Edit it. The generated text is fully editable. Treat it as a first draft — update anything that does not match your property.

Can I regenerate the guide after editing it? You can re-run the generator at any time. Keep in mind that regenerating replaces the current guide content with a new draft based on your latest inputs.

Do guests see the guide immediately? Guests see the guide only after you click Publish. Unpublished or draft guides are not visible in the guest portal.
