Overview

The My Stay tab is the first thing a guest sees when they open a stay. It replaces the old Access tab and surfaces only the cards that matter at the current phase of the trip. The same stay shown 12 hours before check-in looks different from the same stay shown mid-trip — guests no longer have to scroll past ten irrelevant blocks to find the one they need.

My Stay is available on every plan and works out of the box. There is nothing to enable.

How it works

The tab composes cards based on the stay phase reported by ArrivHQ's resolver. The phase comes from the reservation's check-in and check-out dates and the current time.

Cards marked directions, parking, house rules, amenities, check-out, trash, and emergency pull their content directly from your property guide sections of the matching type. If a section is empty or hidden, the card disappears.

Access codes, Wi-Fi, smart-home links, and entry/lockbox instructions remain on the access pack for the reservation. They are gated by the sensitive-content window (visible 24 hours before check-in and for the duration of the stay).

Where the content comes from

  • Parking, house rules, check-out, trash, amenities, directions, emergency → your Property guide sections of the matching type.
  • Access codes, Wi-Fi, entry instructions, lockbox instructions, smart-home URL → the reservation's Access pack.
  • Navigate → the property's address. ArrivHQ builds Google Maps, Waze, and Apple Maps deep links from the address text — no setup required.

If you want a single stay to deviate from the property defaults (a guest with a boat trailer who needs a different parking spot, for example), use Per-stay guide overrides.

Limits & requirements

  • Available on every plan, including Comply.
  • Section content respects the existing sensitive content window — codes and Wi-Fi only appear within 24 hours of check-in through 24 hours after checkout.
  • Long content (over 240 characters) collapses behind a show more affordance so the card stays scannable.

FAQ

My Wi-Fi card isn't showing up. Why?
The Wi-Fi card only renders once you've populated the Wi-Fi network and/or password on the reservation's Access pack, and only during the sensitive-content window. Check both the access pack and the date range.

Can I pin a card so it shows in every phase?
Not in v1. Pinning is on the roadmap; until then, every card's visibility is driven by the phase × card matrix above.

Where did the old Access tab go?
It's been renamed. The path is the same (the default tab on a stay), only the label and behavior changed. Old guest-facing links still work.

What if a property guide section is hidden?
Hidden sections don't surface on My Stay. The card disappears entirely rather than rendering with empty content.

Can I see what my guest sees?
Yes — open the guest's reservation, click the shareable invite link, and follow it in an incognito window. The view reflects the current phase.
