Overview

You can install ArrivHQ on your phone or computer for quick access during your stay. It adds an icon to your home screen, opens in full-screen mode without browser tabs, and lets you receive instant push notifications from your host.

How it works

iPhone or iPad

  1. Open Safari and go to the link your host shared with you, or visit arrivhq.com.
  2. Tap the Share button (the square with an upward arrow) at the bottom of Safari.
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Tap Add.
  5. Open ArrivHQ from your home screen. It runs full-screen -- no Safari bar.

This also enables push notifications so you get instant alerts when your host messages you.

Android

  1. Open Chrome and go to arrivhq.com.
  2. Chrome may show an install prompt at the bottom. Tap Install.
  3. Or tap the three-dot menu in the top right and select Add to Home screen.
  4. ArrivHQ appears in your app drawer.

Computer

  1. Go to arrivhq.com in Chrome, Edge, or Arc.
  2. Click the install icon in the address bar (monitor with a down arrow).
  3. Click Install.

FAQ

Do I have to install it? No. Everything works in your browser. Installing just gives you the home screen icon, full-screen mode, and push notifications.

Is this safe? Yes. ArrivHQ is installed directly from your browser -- nothing is downloaded from an unknown source. It is the same website, just presented as a standalone app.

How do I uninstall it? On iPhone, long-press the icon and tap Remove App. On Android, long-press and select Uninstall. On desktop, right-click the icon in your taskbar or dock.
