Overview

Valzotra sends you email notifications when your host sends a message or when there are updates related to your stay. You can manage your notification preferences from your account settings.

How it works

  1. Click on your avatar or name in the top corner of the navigation.
  2. Select Settings or Account.
  3. Navigate to the Notifications section.
  4. Toggle your preferences for the types of email notifications you want to receive, such as:
    • New messages from your host
    • Checklist assignments
    • Stay updates
  5. Save your changes.

Changes take effect immediately. Notifications you have turned off are not sent until you turn them back on.

FAQ

Can I turn off all notifications? You can disable individual notification types. Keep in mind that turning off message notifications means you may miss important communication from your host during your stay.

Do I get notifications for past stays? No. Notifications are only sent for active and upcoming stays. Once a stay ends, you do not receive further notifications for that property.

What email address do notifications go to? Notifications go to the email address on your Valzotra account. If you change your email in your profile settings, future notifications go to the new address.

I'm getting too many notifications. What should I do? Adjust your preferences in the Notifications section of your account settings. You can turn off specific categories while keeping others active.
