Overview
You can revoke a guest's access to your property at any time. Removing a guest immediately ends their ability to view property details, checklists, and messages. Historical data from the stay is preserved in your records.
How it works
- Navigate to the Guests section of the property.
- Find the guest you want to remove and open their stay details.
- Click End Stay or Revoke Access.
- Confirm the action.
Once removed, the guest can no longer access your property through their Valzotra account. The stay moves to the Past section with the removal date recorded.
If the guest has a pending invitation that has not been accepted, you can cancel it instead. This prevents the guest from accepting and gaining access.
FAQ
What does the guest lose when I remove them? They lose access to your property's details, checklists, messaging thread, and any arrival guide content. They retain their Valzotra account and can still see their own profile information.
Is the stay data deleted? No. All stay data — dates, messages, checklist completions — is preserved in your records. You can review it from the Past stays section.
Can I re-invite a guest after removing them? Yes. You can send a new invitation to the same email address at any time. The guest goes through the standard accept flow again.
Does removing a guest notify them? The guest's access is revoked immediately. They do not receive a removal notification email. If they try to access the property, they see a message that the stay has ended.
