Overview

Guests in Valzotra are the people staying at your properties. You invite them by email, and they get their own free account with access to property information, checklists, and messaging for the duration of their stay. Guest accounts are always free and are not counted against your plan's team member limit.

How it works

  1. You create a guest invitation from the Guests section of a property.
  2. The guest receives an email with a link to accept the invitation.
  3. They create a free Valzotra account (or sign in with an existing one).
  4. During their stay dates, they can view property details, complete checklists, and exchange messages with you.
  5. After the stay ends, the guest's access to that property is automatically removed. Their account and stay history remain intact.

Each guest has a unified Valzotra account. If a guest visits multiple properties — yours or another host's — they use the same account and see all their stays in one place.

FAQ

Do guests count against my team member limit? No. Guests are completely separate from team members. You can invite as many guests as you need regardless of your plan.

Do guests need to pay for Valzotra? Never. Guest accounts are always free. Only hosts pay for the platform.

Can a guest be a host too? Yes. A single Valzotra account can be both a host (with a paid plan) and a guest at another host's property. The roles are separate.

What happens to guest data after a stay ends? The guest loses access to your property, but their account and historical stay data are preserved. You can still view their past stay information from your dashboard.
