Overview

Valzotra supports multi-user teams so you can collaborate with co-hosts, cleaners, bookkeepers, and other people who help run your rental business. Every organization starts with one owner and can grow by inviting additional members.

How it works

  1. When you create your Valzotra account, you become the owner of your organization.
  2. You invite team members by email from Settings > Team. Each person receives a link to join.
  3. You assign each member a tenant role (Owner, Admin, or Member) that controls their organization-wide access level.
  4. For members, you also assign property roles (Manager, Cleaner, Bookkeeper, Maintenance, or Viewer) on a per-property basis. This determines what they can see and do within each property.
  5. Owners and admins have full access to all properties automatically. Members only see the properties they are assigned to.

Team members count toward your plan's member limit. The owner counts as one of those members.

Limits & requirements

  • Comply plan — 1 team member (the owner only). You cannot invite anyone on this plan.
  • Host plan — Up to 3 team members.
  • Portfolio plan — Up to 5 team members. Each Property Pack adds 4 additional member seats.
  • Both active members and pending invites count toward the limit.
  • You must have an active paid subscription to invite team members.

FAQ

Who counts as a team member? Every person in your organization counts, including the owner. On the Comply plan, the single seat is used by the owner. On Host, the 3-seat limit includes the owner plus up to 2 invited members. On Portfolio, the 5-seat limit includes the owner plus up to 4 invited members.

Can someone be on more than one team? Yes. A person can belong to multiple Valzotra organizations. They use the tenant switcher in the top-right menu to move between them.

What happens if I downgrade to a lower plan? Your existing team members remain, but you cannot invite new members or re-enable disabled members until you are back within the new plan's member limit.

Do guests count as team members? No. Guests access Valzotra through the guest portal using a token-based link. They do not use a team member seat.
