Overview

When your host sends you a message through Valzotra, you receive an email notification and can view the full message in your dashboard. This is the primary way your host communicates stay-related information to you.

How it works

  1. Your host sends a message from their dashboard.
  2. You receive an email notification at the address associated with your Valzotra account. The email includes the message content and a link to your dashboard.
  3. Sign in to Valzotra and navigate to Messages to see the full conversation thread.
  4. All messages from your host appear in chronological order within the thread.

You do not need to be signed in to receive the email notification. The message is waiting for you in your dashboard whenever you are ready to view it.

FAQ

I didn't get a notification email. What should I do? Check your spam or junk folder. If notifications are consistently missing, make sure your email address in your account settings is correct, and add Valzotra's sending address to your contacts.

Can I read the message from the email without signing in? The email includes the message content, so you can read it directly. To reply, you need to sign in to your Valzotra dashboard.

Do I get a notification for every message? Yes. Each new message from your host generates a separate email notification.

Can other guests see messages my host sends to me? No. Your conversation thread is private between you and your host (and their team members who have access to the property).
