Overview

ArrivHQ works as a native-like app on your phone, tablet, or computer -- no app store needed. Installing it gives you a dedicated icon on your home screen or dock, a full-screen experience without browser clutter, and instant push notifications when guests message you or complete checklists.

How it works

iPhone or iPad (Safari)

  1. Open Safari and go to arrivhq.com.
  2. Log in to your account.
  3. Tap the Share button (the square with an upward arrow) in Safari's toolbar.
  4. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  5. The name "ArrivHQ" appears automatically. Tap Add.
  6. ArrivHQ now appears on your home screen as a standalone app.

When you open it from the home screen, it runs in full-screen mode -- no address bar, no Safari tabs. It looks and feels like a native app.

Android (Chrome)

  1. Open Chrome and go to arrivhq.com.
  2. Log in to your account.
  3. Chrome shows an install banner at the bottom, or you can tap the three-dot menu in the top right and select Install app or Add to Home screen.
  4. Tap Install.
  5. ArrivHQ appears in your app drawer and home screen.

Mac (Chrome, Edge, or Arc)

  1. Go to arrivhq.com and log in.
  2. Look for the install icon in the right side of the address bar -- it looks like a monitor with a down arrow.
  3. Click it and confirm Install.
  4. ArrivHQ opens in its own window and appears in your Dock and Launchpad.

Mac (Safari — macOS Sonoma or later)

  1. Go to arrivhq.com and log in.
  2. In the menu bar, click File > Add to Dock.
  3. ArrivHQ appears in your Dock as a standalone app.

Limits & requirements

  • iPhone/iPad: Safari is required. Chrome and Firefox on iOS cannot install web apps (this is an Apple platform restriction).
  • Push notifications on iOS: Require the app to be installed to your home screen first. Notifications do not work in Safari alone.
  • All platforms: You must be logged in when you install. The app remembers your session -- you stay logged in.
  • Updates: The app updates automatically. When we ship a new feature, you get it the next time you open ArrivHQ. No app store updates needed.

FAQ

Is this different from downloading an app from the App Store? ArrivHQ is a Progressive Web App (PWA). You install it directly from your browser instead of an app store. It works offline for the core interface, sends push notifications, and runs in full-screen mode -- just like a store app. The benefit is that you always have the latest version without waiting for app store reviews.

Do I need to install it to use ArrivHQ? No. ArrivHQ works fully in any web browser. Installing it gives you the dedicated app experience, home screen icon, and push notifications.

Can I install it on multiple devices? Yes. Install it on your phone, tablet, and computer. Your account and data sync across all devices.

How do I uninstall it? On iPhone, long-press the icon and tap Remove App. On Android, long-press and drag to Uninstall. On Mac, right-click the Dock icon and choose Remove from Dock, or delete it from Launchpad.
