Your host's Property Guide is everything they've written about the property — directions, parking, Wi-Fi, dishwasher quirks, hot tub instructions, local recommendations, garbage day, the works. You can read the full guide any time from About this stay → Guide. The pieces your host wants you to see during the trip are pinned to your My Stay tab as the Arrival Guide.

How it works

Two places it shows up

  • My Stay tab — the Arrival Guide cards your host pinned. These rotate by phase: pre-arrival cards show before you check in; in-stay cards show during the trip; check-out cards show on your last day.
  • About this stay → Guide — the full Property Guide. Everything the host wrote. Always available.

Don't worry about hunting between the two — anything urgent is pinned to My Stay automatically. About this stay is for reference when you want details.

Section types

Sections render differently depending on their type. House rules look like a numbered list. The Welcome section reads like a letter. Wi-Fi has a tap-to-copy password row. Plain markdown sections render the host's formatting (bold, lists, links, images).

Updates from your host

Hosts can edit the guide any time. When they do, the next time you open the portal, the change is live — you'll see the new content immediately. There's no notification by default, but if a change is important they'll usually message you too.

Limits

  • Available from the moment you accept your invitation through 30 days after check-out.
  • After 30 days, access codes are removed for security but the rest of the guide stays readable.
  • Some sections are host-only and won't appear on your portal. You only see sections marked guest-visible.

FAQ

Where did the Guide tab go?

It moved to About this stay → Guide. The pieces your host wants you to see during the trip are pinned to My Stay automatically, so most guests rarely need to open the full guide.

What's the difference between the Arrival Guide and the Property Guide?

Same data, different views. The Property Guide is the full document. The Arrival Guide is the subset your host pinned to show on My Stay. Anything not pinned still lives in the Property Guide.

What if the door code or Wi-Fi password doesn't work?

Use the Message button on the Access card on My Stay — it goes directly to your host. They can rotate the code or troubleshoot with you on the thread. See your access codes.

Does every property have a guide?

Most do. If your host hasn't written one, About this stay shows reservation details only. Reach out to your host via the message thread if you need information that should be in the guide.

Can I download the guide as a PDF?

If your host generated a Welcome Guide PDF, they can share the link with you via the message thread. There's no in-portal Download button — the live guide on your phone is always more current than a PDF.
