Overview

The Needs Review section appears on the Today page for users in the management lane (Owner, Admin, Manager). It surfaces reservations that have fallen out of their expected lifecycle and require manual attention.

Missed check-ins

A reservation appears as a missed check-in when it has a confirmed status but the check-in date has already passed. This typically means the guest has not arrived as expected or the host has not updated the reservation status.

Each missed check-in card displays a red badge labeled "Missed check-in" alongside the guest name, property, and original check-in date. Clicking the card opens the reservation detail where you can update the status, contact the guest, or mark it as a no-show.

Missed check-outs

A reservation appears as a missed check-out when it has a checked in status but the check-out date has already passed. This usually means the guest has departed but the reservation was not closed, or the guest has overstayed.

Each missed check-out card displays an amber badge labeled "Missed check-out" with the same reservation details. From the detail view you can mark the guest as checked out or take other appropriate action.

Who sees Needs Review

The Needs Review section is only visible to users in the management lane -- Owners, Admins, and Managers. Team members with operations roles (Cleaner, Maintenance) do not see this section, as reservation lifecycle management is not part of their workflow.
