Overview
Once you assign a guest checklist, you can monitor which guests have completed which items. The acknowledgment status view gives you a clear picture of guest compliance with your house rules, safety information, or check-in procedures.
How it works
- Navigate to the Guest Checklists section of the property.
- Select a checklist to view its status.
- You see a list of assigned guests with their completion status:
- Complete — The guest has acknowledged all required items.
- In progress — The guest has acknowledged some items but not all.
- Not started — The guest has not opened or acknowledged any items yet.
- Click on a guest's name to see which specific items they have and have not acknowledged.
Informational items (those that do not require acknowledgment) are not counted toward the completion percentage. Only acknowledgment-type items determine whether a checklist is complete.
FAQ
How do I know when a guest completes a checklist? Check the acknowledgment status from your dashboard. The status updates in real time as the guest works through the items.
What if a guest has not started their checklist? You can send them a message through the messaging feature to remind them. There is no automatic reminder system for checklists.
Can I see a timestamp for each acknowledgment? Yes. When you view the item-level detail for a guest, each acknowledged item shows the date and time it was completed.
Is acknowledgment data preserved after the stay ends? Yes. Acknowledgment records are part of your historical stay data. You can review which items a guest acknowledged even after their stay has ended.
