Overview
Your profile contains your name, email address, and password. You can update these at any time from your account settings. Your name and email are visible to hosts you stay with.
How it works
- Click on your avatar or name in the top corner of the navigation.
- Select Settings or Account.
- From the profile section, you can:
- Update your name — Change your display name. This is what hosts see.
- Update your email — Change the email address associated with your account. This is where you receive invitation and message notifications.
- Change your password — Enter your current password and set a new one.
- Click Save to apply your changes.
If you change your email address, future invitation and notification emails are sent to the new address. Existing stays remain linked to your account.
FAQ
Can my host see my password? No. Your password is never visible to anyone, including hosts and Valzotra staff.
What name do hosts see? Hosts see the display name you set in your profile. Use the name your host knows you by so they can identify you easily.
What happens if I change my email? All future notifications go to your new email. You sign in with the new email going forward. Your stay history and account data remain unchanged.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it? On the sign-in page, click Forgot password. Enter your email address and follow the link in the reset email to create a new password.
