Overview
You can edit any mileage entry to correct a mistake or add missing details. You can also permanently delete entries you no longer need.
How it works
Editing a mileage entry
- Go to Mileage in the sidebar.
- Find the entry you want to change and click on it to open the detail view, or click the edit icon.
- Update any field: trip date, miles, origin, destination, purpose, or property.
- Click Save. The change takes effect immediately.
You can update one field at a time or change multiple fields in a single edit. The entry's audit trail records which fields were modified.
Deleting a mileage entry
- Go to Mileage in the sidebar.
- Find the entry you want to remove.
- Click the delete option from the entry's action menu.
- Confirm the deletion.
Deletion is permanent. The entry is removed from your mileage log, your per-property totals, and any future exports. It cannot be recovered.
Batch operations
You can select multiple mileage entries and perform bulk actions:
- Batch delete — Select up to 100 entries and delete them all at once.
- Batch update — Select multiple entries and change their property assignment in one step.

FAQ
Can I undo a deletion? No. Deleted mileage entries are permanently removed. If you are unsure, consider editing the entry instead of deleting it.
Does editing an entry change who created it? No. The original creator's user ID remains attached to the entry. The edit is recorded in the audit log with your user ID.
Can I change the property on multiple entries at once? Yes. Select the entries you want to update, choose the batch update option, and pick the new property. This is useful if you initially logged trips without assigning a property.
What if I delete an entry that was already exported? The deletion only affects future views and exports. Any previously generated export files are not retroactively updated.
